Foto.Guru is an online photo ordering system built for photo labs, photo shops and photography studios. We help small and mid-sized labs offer their customers the same convenient online ordering the big chains have — under the lab's own brand.
Where Foto.Guru comes from
Foto.Guru launched in 2019, built for photo labs on the Polish market — a market with hundreds of independent photo shops competing with large drugstore chains and online print giants. The problem we set out to solve was simple to describe and hard to ignore: customers wanted to order photos from their phones, and most local labs could only take orders in person, by phone or by email.
The answer became a browser-based ordering system that a lab can set up in an afternoon: customers pick photos, crop them, choose formats and photo products, pay online and select delivery — with nothing to install. The lab keeps its own brand, its own prices and its own customer relationships.
Since then, more than 200 photo labs and photography studios have used Foto.Guru to take their customers' orders online. Today the system is available in eight languages across Europe.
Who builds it
Foto.Guru is created by Yak Consulting sp. z o.o., a Polish software company working in the industry since 2005 — more than 20 years of building business solutions, with a focus on business process automation. The portfolio spans photography businesses, e-commerce and retail.

Most of what Foto.Guru does today started as a request from a working photo lab. Release notes on our blog go back years — that is the product being shaped by its users.
